Good morning! It is finally here, the week of Christmas!! I am beyond excited for the festivities to begin! This has been such a fun month getting ready for the holiday.
This year Bugaboo has been old enough to do so much more than last year! Yesterday he helped me bake our peanut butter kiss cookies. He did an excellent job unwrapping the sticks of butter and pouring the ingredients in. Unfortunately, his mixing privileges were revoked when he realized how fun it was to whip the flour out of the bowl! Oops! He has been having a lot of fun doing his holiday activities and crafts, making his stocking gifts for the family, helping pick out toys to donate, and he visited Santa with his sister! Jellybean has been busy too, she is cruising and popping out teeth like crazy! This will be her first Christmas which is so special. It really has been a fun and exciting month over here!
On top of all that excitement, I have been crafting up a storm! I loved creating these DIY projects this year and if you have been following along, thank you! It is a bit of an adventure fitting in time to make DIY gifts and decorations, but I am happy with how everything turned out! I learned some new crafting and Photoshop techniques along the way and have been so inspired by the other DIY projects around the web this month! So much creativity and resourcefulness!
Below is a review of all 12 projects from this year’s “12 Days of a Handmade Holiday”. I’ll be taking a brief break from the blog as we celebrate the holiday with our families and get re-charged for the New Year! I’ll be back in January ready to get started on a new year of projects. I am so grateful for this little blog and can’t wait to see what new things I can create for my kiddos and our home.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Wishing you lots of love, happiness, and joy this holiday season! See you in 2016!!!!
