Good morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a very busy and exciting weekend! We celebrated my son’s birthday yesterday with a trip to see the dinosaurs at the museum. He loved it! On Saturday we celebrated both of our children’s birthdays with a woodland-themed party! They had a blast and it was so cute! I can’t wait to show you the pictures once I go through them! Over the next month, I’ll also be posting a bunch of DIY projects from the party – including some fun games, free printables, and party favors!
Today I wanted to sneak in a quick DIY St. Patrick’s Day project! These shamrock treat boxes are so quick and easy to put together using the free printable. They are designed to look like little shamrock seed boxes. I chose to fill mine with green jellybeans, to look like seeds, but any small candy would work. You could even fill them with gold coins or Lucky Charms cereal to stay in the holiday spirt! Below is the tutorial and free printable! Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!!
Supplies Needed for St. Patrick’s Day Treat Box
- Free printable: St. Patrick’s Day Treat Box
- White card stock. I used 110lb bright white paper
- Glue or tape runner
- Score board and stylus (optional)
Step 1: Print off the treat boxes using the free printable under “Supplies Needed”. Cut them out using a scissors.
Step 2: Fold along the dotted lines. If you have a score board and stylus, you can score along the straight lines before folding. I used the stylus but not the score board, to score the curved lines.
Step 3: Adhere the sides of the treat box together using glue or a tape runner. Fold in the top and bottom of the box. Fill the treat boxes with candy or little treats and enjoy! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
